Coca-Cola Vietnam sets world record for most crowded Lunar New Year dining table

VOV.VN - Coca Cola Beverages Vietnam Ltd welcomed 3,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City on January 8 to set a record for the world’s most crowded Lunar New Year dining table.

The record was officially recognized by the World Records Union (WorldKings) and saw the arrangement of 436 dining tables set out in the shape of two of Coca-Cola’s iconic bottles.

Three generations of a family don Ao Dai, the nation’s traditional long dress, as they delightedly sit at the dining table, with the event spreading a message of reunions and both families and friends coming together during the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.

This comes amid Coca-Cola Vietnam organising “Zero dong” markets in support of 3,000 poor families and presenting more than 2,000 Banh Chung, Chung cake, to homeless people, disadvantaged students, and workers based in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi ahead of Tet.
