Nguyen Ngoc Anh from Gia Lam suburban district of Hanoi was hospitalised weighing only 9.5kg due to kidney problems. Her left kidney was only half of normal size and a renal artery was blocked due to a 10mm narrow section.

Before the graft, doctors tried to stretch the narrow section, but failed. They had to take the kidney out to cure and put it back to her iliac fossa.
