Canon helps light up northern villages
Cannon Vietnam Co., Ltd will provide over US$57,000 for the northern province of Bac Ninh to install lighting systems in its disadvantaged communes.
To this effect, Canon Vietnam signed an agreement with the provincial Department of Transport on August 8.
Under the deal, the company will install the lighting system along Road DT278, helping ensure traffic safety for residents in Nam Son commune, Que Vo district.
The project will be also implemented in four other disadvantaged communes in Que Vo and Tien Du districts.
Canon Vietnam has so far carried out a number of projects such as building schools, afforestation and granting scholarships, contributing to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.
