Can Tho University finishes fourth at 2019 Asia Bridge Competition

A team from Can Tho University finished fourth out of total 16 teams at the recent 12th Asia Bridge Competition in Indonesia.

The team, made up of students from the university’s Department of Technology, earned the fifth spot in the composition and bridge architecture events at the competition.

This year, the annual contest drew the participation of teams from six countries and territories, including Mongolia, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and host Indonesia. 

At the competition, participants joined a concept design presentation session and a bridge assembly and loading test session. 

The 13th edition will be held in Thailand while Can Tho University will host two years later.
