Binh Duong to host Techfest Vietnam 2022

VOV.VN - The National Innovative Entrepreneurship Day (Techfest Vietnam 2022) due to take place from December 2 to 4 in Binh Duong province is expected to help train local workers to meet market demands, create jobs, and accelerate economic recovery in the post-COVID period.

This information was unveiled at a press conference on November 24 hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in order to introduce Techfest Vietnam 2022 themed “Open Innovation Ecosystem – The Next Big Think”.

The primary aim of Techfest Vietnam 2022 is to promote the building of a comprehensive open innovation ecosystem that focuses on three major pillars - the State, businesses, and innovations to address social problems such as climate change, the environment, and health for the elderly, women, and children, said Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung at the ceremony.

Diverse activities will be held during the event, including an exhibition of innovative start-up products and services, and a National Policy Forum for Innovative Startup Ecosystem Development in the 2021 - 2025 period.

There will be 30 seminars on schedule, specifically focusing on smart factories, transition to Industry 4.0 technology, innovative solutions for businesses, and lessons on the transformation of business models to adapt to the post-COVID era.
