The Prime Minister has directed ministries, departments and localities to simplify at least 30 percent of current administrative regulations in the second phase of a project to streamline state management.

Almost all ministries and departments have completed compiling statistics and have categorised the formal procedures within their scope.

Meanwhile, 58 provinces and cities have finished similar preparations at commune and district levels.

The PM has requested ministries, departments and localities to review the first phase of the project in late August and early September.

The project on state management shows the Government’s commitment to building an effective, professional and democratic administration, fighting corruption and waste and practicing thrift through the simplification and explicitness of official procedures to assist people and businesses.
