(VOV) - ArchDaily, a US highly acclaimed architecture magazine, has recently featured Vietnamese Food Pavilion in Hanoi.
Vietnamese Food Pavilion is conceptualized by MIA Design Studio. |
The space bases on Vietnamese traditional folk house to replicate its proportions and dimensions, is transparent and interactive with its surrounding environment. “It is open but close, close but open”. |
Vietnam is always proud of its cuisine diversity across 3 regions. The display counter is formed base on Vietnam geographical shape (S-shape) presenting traditional dishes from 3 regions. |
The dishes are displayed on benches and standing tables representing Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands. This symbolizes Vietnam asserting its territorial sovereignty to the world. |
