ArchDaily features Vietnamese Food Pavilion

(VOV) - ArchDaily, a US highly acclaimed architecture magazine, has recently featured Vietnamese Food Pavilion in Hanoi.

Vietnamese Food Pavilion is conceptualized by MIA Design Studio.

The space bases on Vietnamese traditional folk house to replicate its proportions and dimensions, is transparent and interactive with its surrounding environment. “It is open but close, close but open”.

Vietnam is always proud of its cuisine diversity across 3 regions. The display counter is formed base on Vietnam geographical shape (S-shape) presenting traditional dishes from 3 regions.

The dishes are displayed on benches and standing tables representing Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands. This symbolizes Vietnam asserting its territorial sovereignty to the world.
