The programme, the second of its kind, was jointly held by the Vietnamese Association for the Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA), the Cong Ly (Justice) newspaper and the Thang Long Culture and Information Company. It aims to call on domestic and overseas individuals and organisations to provide physical and spiritual support for AO victims in their struggle for justice.

Thanh Hoa raised about VND1 billion for AO victims during a fundraising campaign launched in July in response to an Action Month in support of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims.
The provincial authorities presented 30 gifts worth VND300,000 each to the families of AO victims in six districts and decided to build charitable houses for these victims.
More than VND500 million was raised for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims at a special art programme called “Justice of the Heart” held in Hanoi on August 9.
