The Department of Preventive Medicine and Environment under the Ministry of Health said that many patients have been released and no fatalities reported so far.

A majority of these cases have been released from hospital after treatment, it said.
Now 74 patients, including the latest cases, are in isolation for medical treatment. They are in a stable condition, showing no serious symptoms, the Ministry of Health reported.

The ministry warned foreign arrivals and the community to stay alert against the complicated developments of the epidemic by strictly following preventive measures.

The ministry also pledged to work closely with local administrations, relevant ministries and agencies as well as foreign countries and international organisations to monitor the epidemic while taking numerous measures to prevent the disease spreading to the community.
