Around 60 Danish families which have adopted Vietnamese children have gathered at an annual meeting in Copenhagen to share experiences in raising their children.

Speaking at the August 22 meeting, Vietnamese ambassador to Denmark Vu Van Luu said the embassy welcomes the adoptive parents who encourage their children to learn more about the land of their origin.

The embassy will continue to work with the association of adoptive families of Vietnamese children to hold meetings and other activities to help the families and the children themselves get closer to each other.

According to the association’s statistics, there are around 500 families in Denmark who have adopted Vietnamese children.
