Ha Tinh will receive 1,500 tonnes while Binh Dinh 2,500 tonnes, according to a Prime Minister decision.

In late January, the Prime Minister also decided to offer 23,090 tonnes of rice from the national reserve to the nine provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Binh, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Phu Yen, Nghe An, Bac Kan and Quang Ngai.

To date, 11 provinces have received rice to distribute to local people to help them enjoy a happy Lunar New Year festival.
