Under his decision signed on July 22, most of the inhabited islands should have access to mobile, postal and Internet services for their economic development as well as to ensure security.

Radio and television should also be made available for residents on the islands.

The project, which will be implemented from 2010 to 2015, includes upgrading the public information infrastructure, extending the coverage area of radio and television services, and establishing coastal radio stations to improve the quality of radio broadcasting services.
