A big haul of awards for Viettel at Globee Tech Awards 2025

VOV.VN - Military-run telecommunications group Viettel has won 19 awards at the 2025 Globee Awards for Technology, one of the world’s most prestigious accolades in the field of information technology and innovation.

With a big haul of awards, the Vietnamese telecom giant surpassed global technology leaders such as Amazon, IBM, Meta, Broadcom, Ivanti, and Cisco.

This year, Viettel led the competition with 19 awards, including 5 Gold, 7 Silver, and 7 Bronze, outpacing both IBM and Amazon, who tied in second place with 11 awards each. This marks the second consecutive year that Viettel has topped this global technology awards platform. In total, five Vietnamese enterprises were listed among the winners.

More notably, 17 out of 19 of Viettel’s winning products ranked first in their respective categories, underscoring the company’s technological strength and global competitiveness across diverse IT domains.

According to the organisers, over 3,500 technology experts worldwide participated in the judging process. Entries were assessed and ranked at Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels based on product innovation, performance, and impact.

This achievement reaffirms Viettel’s position not only as a Vietnamese technology leader but also as a rising global player in digital innovation and IT excellence.

Established in 2006 by the Network Product Guide of the United States, the Globee Awards, formerly known as the IT World Awards, is an annual international awards programme established in 2006 by Network Product Guide (USA), recognising excellence in IT products, services, and solutions worldwide.
