Up to now, 56 cities and provinces nationwide have carried out the second vaccination plan for poultry. Vietnam has vaccinated approximately 92 million poultry including 54.5 million of chicken and 37.5 million of ducks over the past nine months.

To prevent the possible recurrence of bird flu late this year, MARD Minister has sent a telegram to cities and provinces nationwide, asking them to complete the second vaccination plan by early November 30, and disinfect farms and slaughter houses in high-risk areas.
