Doctors from the National Hospital of Odonto – Stomatology and Operation Smile provided free medical check-ups and offered free operations for 80 children with hare lips, cleft palates and facial deformities in Ho Chi Minh City on December 12.

Each operation cost more than VND5 million and was funded by Amway Vietnam, a branch of a US direct manufacturer of high quality consumer products, which also presented gifts to these patients.

From 2008 to 2010, Amway Vietnam donated a total of VND2.4 billion and worked with two US based non-profit organisations, Operation Smile and Hands of Hope, to support 2,200 disadvantaged children in Vietnam.
