More than 74,000 foreign employees from 65 countries are living and working in Vietnam, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).
At least 58 percent of them are from Asian countries and 28.5 percent from EU countries.
Nguyen Dai Dong, director of the MoLISA's Employment Department, said starting from August 1 organisations that have demand for foreign workers must register their recruitment demand with the local Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
