39 Vietnamese detained in Myanmar for immigration violations return home
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security and relevant agencies, on April 9 repatriated 39 Vietnamese citizens who had been detained for immigration violations in Myanmar.

They became the first group of Vietnamese citizens to be brought back from Myawaddy, Myanmar.
The MoFA is actively working alongside other relevant parties in a bid to bring home more Vietnamese nationals who are awaiting repatriation as soon as possible.
Vietnamese nationals are recommended to exercise caution when considering job offers abroad that promise “easy work, high salary” without any requirements for qualifications, degrees, contracts, or without going through businesses or labour dispatch organisations.
The MoFA also advised them to carefully verify job details, workplace locations, recruiters, insurances, and benefits, as well as to consult with local authorities before accepting overseas employment to avoid becoming undocumented workers.
