38 Vietnamese citizens repatriated after working in Cambodian casinos
VOV.VN - Authorities of the Southwestern border province of Tay Ninh have recently received 38 Vietnamese citizens handed over by Cambodian authorities.

The Moc Bai International Border Gate Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Criminal Police Division of Tay Ninh Police, received the individuals from the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and Cambodian police on July 3.
These citizens were found by Cambodian authorities to have violated immigration and labour laws while working illegally in Svay Rieng province.
Following an inspection, authorities discovered that 29 of the individuals had previously worked for companies involved in gambling and scam operations in Cambodia, such as TiTan King, Kim Sa, Venus, Ly Chau, Shanhai, and Tam Thai Tu.
Most notably, three of them had previous criminal convictions for theft, public disorder, and drug possession, while five others had prior administrative offences related to murder, gambling, drug use and addiction, or illegal border crossings.
