The remains of Vietnamese soldiers killed in Cambodia during the war against the US and the South Western border war have been reburied at the Doc Ba Dac cemetery in An Giang province.

The remains were brought home from Cambodia’s Lam Pot, Kom Pong Speau, Kandal, Ta Kheo and Koh Kong provinces between Ferburuary and June 2009. Only 14 of them have been identified.

Two groups of military men from An Giang have been assisted by Cambodian people in these provinces to find the remains of more than 1,000 volunteer soldiers from 20,000 places.
