The programme is the result of cooperation between Intel Vietnam, America’s University of Portland and five Vietnamese universities, namely the Ho Chi Minh City’s University of Technology, International University, University of Technical Education, and University of Science and the Da Nang University of Technology.
Under the programme, the best students will be given the chance to get a university degree after 3 years of studying in Vietnam and two years of training at the University of Portland. They will then return to work for Intel Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City after graduating.
This is the second time that Intel Vietnam has run such a programme. 28 technical students received scholarships in 2009 and are studying at the University of Portland.
Qualified students can register for the scholarship at http://www.pdx.edu/cecs/intel-vietnam-study-abroad-program from January 15 February 15.
