The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Germany’s Bayer Group launched the 2007 Bayer Environment Ambassadors program for the Central and Central Highlands region on March 27.
With the aim of "collecting and sustainably treating urban sewage", the programme targets students aged 18-25 from colleges and universities in the region, who are interested in environmental activities and have knowledge of the subject and good communication skills in English.
Candidates are expected to present their understanding of the issue and to propose solutions for sustainable urban sewage treatment in a writing piece of no more than 5,000 words.
The event organizers will select the 20 best candidates for the titles, of whom two will be granted a one-week fact-finding tour of Leverkusen, Germany this November.
The deadline for the entries is March 31.
