17 Vietnamese teams to compete at 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship
VOV.VN - Seventeen teams from Vietnam will take part in the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship (VEX Worlds), set to be held from May 5 to 14 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, the US

Speaking at a lauching ceremony held in Hanoi on April 24 for Vietnam's teams competing in the event, Ta Ngoc Tri, Deputy Director of the General Education Department, said this year’s tournament - the world’s largest of its kind- is expected to draw between 2,400 and 3,000 teams from more than 50 countries.
He noted that Vietnam ranks among the countries with the highest number of participating teams, reflecting the country’s growing interest and progress in STEM education.
Also attending the event, Beth Polley, Counselor for Public Affairs at the US Embassy in Vietnam, highlighted the significance of the competition, saying it offers students a valuable opportunity to network, explore US schools and tech companies, gain real-world exposure, and develop aspirations to contribute to the country in the future.
To select the best representatives for VEX Worlds 2025, the STEM Education Promotion Alliance, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the Centre for Science and Technology Development, and Vovinam Digital JSC co-organized the Vietnam VEX National Robotics Championship 2025.
The national contest featured over 1,000 students from 105 teams across the country.
