According to the organising board, comprising the HCM City IT Association, the International Data Group (IDG) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), this year’s seminar will provide a more specific foundation for the role of the software industry in the economy, making it a vital part of the country’s development in the next 15-20 years.
At the seminar, experts will analyse Vietnam’s position in the global ICT scene, assess the current state of the country’s software industry development, and compare the business, software and service development strategies of domestic and foreign ICT groups.
Concurrently, the 14th Vietnam Computer Electronics World Expo (VCW) will be held with the participation of around 300 ICT groups from home and abroad who will display their cutting-edge technology and products in 400 booths.
Between July 16-17, the seventh Vietnam e-Government Symposium will be held with the participation of foreign experts, who will talk about a public-private cooperation model in the ICT sector, especially in building an e-government.
