12 Vietnamese killed in a Thai car accident

(VOV) - Twelve Vietnamese people were killed and three others injured after a van rammed at the rear of a parked truck in Thailand on June 2.
The accident happened at around 5 am when the chartered van was carrying a group of Vietnamese passengers from Bangkok to Nong Bualampoo province bordering Laos.
The 15-seat van caught fire after the collision.
Eyewitnesses said the Thai driver, who was also among the dead victims, had fallen asleep before the accident occurred.
The injured were rushed to Kaeng Klor district’s hospital.
Local authorities have yet to identify the victims, but sources say most of them are Vietnamese.
