The 30-year old man from Binh Thanh district, HCM City was hospitalised on September 21 with coughing, a sore throat and a high fever. Although taking Tamiflu based on the A/H1N1 treatment regime he remained in a critical condition and passed away on September 24.

So far Vietnam has recorded 11 fatalities of A/H1N1 flu, including 4 in Ho Chi Minh City.
