1,000 banh chung for the less fortunate
(VOV) -Ngoc Han and hundreds of students from the Nguyen Tri Phuong secondary school on January 22 made a 1,000 chung cakes (square glutinous traditional rice cakes) to give to less fortunate children in the mountainous province of Ha Giang.

This was a meaningful activity that aimed to bring happiness to needy children on the occasion of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year Festival). |

According to the yin-yang philosophy, Chung cakes symbolize the round square with the green of life and prosperity, which is yin. |
