1 killed when wrong-way driver slams into 3 motorbikes
VOV.VN - One person was killed and two seriously injured Friday, June 21, when a wrong-way driver slammed into three motorbikes on the Hoa Khanh Bridge in the city of Sa Dec in Dong Thap Province.

The Zing online newspaper reported an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed in the wrong lane before colliding with three motorbikes driven by Le Van Viet, 38, Pham Thi Kim Hoa, 37, and Le Thi Nga, 58.
Le Thi Tui, a 74-year-old passenger on the motorbike driven by Thi Nga died at the scene. The injured were taken to a local emergency room for treatment and remain hospitalized.
Vo Van Thanh Chuong, 61, from the district of Chau Thanh was later identified by the police as the SUV driver. The accident temporarily shut down all lanes of traffic crossing the bridge.
The crash remains under investigation with charges pending against the driver of the SUV.
