The delegates discussed the victory over US aggression during the war of resistance, which culminated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign leading to the compete liberation of South Vietnam and national reunification.

The great victory was attributable to the Party and State’s creative application of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thoughts and the combination of national unity and strength, they noted.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Political Institute Lieutenant General Nguyen Tien Quoc highlighted the historical value of the war of resistance against US aggression, the Spring 1975 Offensive and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
