Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem presented Friendship Order to Klaus Rohland, outgoing director of the World Bank Vietnam, in Hanoi on January 26.

Speaking at the ceremony, the deputy Prime Minister lauded the role of Mr Rohland during his five-year term in Vietnam, especially his contributions to the Poverty Reduction Support Credit Programme in recent times.

The government official affirmed that the WB country director’s contributions will serve as a solid foundation for the future partnership between the World Bank and the Vietnamese Government. He also expressed his wish that Mr Rohland will further contribute to Vietnam’s economic development.
