In his speech at the gathering, VUFO Chairman Vu Xuan Hong reviewed the milestones in the cause of the Vietnamese revolutionary press over the past 87 years while praising its contributions to promoting people-to-people diplomacy and Vietnam’s image to international friends.

Media agencies and the VUFO have cooperated well in the past and they will step up their communications during the third Vietnam-Laos Friendship Festival, as well as the third Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship and Cooperation Meeting and the 9^th Asia-Europe People’s Forum.

To mark the occasion, the VUFO leader presented insignias to nine journalists, including two from Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
