VOV President Do Tien Sy re-elected to 14th Party Central Committee
VOV.VN - Do Tien Sy, a member of the 13th Party Central Committee and President of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), has been re-elected to the 14th Party Central Committee.
On January 22, the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) elected the new Party Central Committee, comprising 200 members, including 180 full members and 20 alternate members.
Do Tien Sy, VOV President is among the 180 full members of the 14th Party Central Committee.
Born on November 2, 1965, Do Tien Sy is a native of northern Hung Yen province. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in political theory.
He has served as a member of the Party Central Committee in the 12th, 13th and 14th tenures, and as a National Assembly Deputy to the 14th and 15th tenures.
While working in Hung Yen, Do Tien Sy held various posts, including Secretary of the Van Lam District Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation concurrently serving as Chairman of the provincial Literature and Arts Association, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee.
In June 2021, the Prime Minister issued a decision to appoint Do Tien Sy as VOV President
