The event was organised by VOV’s Youth Union in coordination with other press agencies, such as Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency and the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, followed by a concert, praising the late President Ho Chi Minh and highlighting the role of the press.
Addressing the event, VOV General Director Vu Van Hien emphasised that with modern technology in an increasingly developed world today, VOV’s staff, especially young people, have to improve their professional skills and nurture their ethnics to confirm their role and uphold the fine tradition of their predecessors.
He went on to say that as a national radio, VOV is gradually developing into one of the most powerful radio stations in the region and the world. This depends a lot on its young staff, who are eager to broaden their knowledge and gain access to modern technologies.
