The PM decision was announced by the Government Office on February 27
Vietnam News, an English-language daily published by the VNA, will represent host Vietnam at the forum, which is scheduled to take place in mid April, 2007.

The regional forum is an initiative from the Asian News Network which involves 14 leading dailies from 12 Asian countries.

It is expected to draw between 500 and 600 participants, with half coming from other countries including several prominent officials in the region.

The VNA will work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to make the forum an opportunity for the country to promote images of a stable investment climate with numerous opening policies. The forum will also highlight Vietnam's contributions to the region and the world as a whole through great achievements in the renewal and modernisation process.
