During the meeting, the VGCL President, Dang Ngoc Tung, said that his agency is focused on drafting the revised law on trade union and taking part in building the Labour Code, which will be submitted to the Vietnam National Assembly for approval in 2010.
He said the VCGL is joining efforts with the state to overcome the effects of the global financial crisis and stabilize the macro-economy in order to ensure social security for workers.
Mr Flathen expressed his delight at Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements, saying he always considers the VGCL an important partner, especially in trade union activities.
President Tung and President Fathen signed an agreement on cooperation between the two trade unions in the 2010-2014 period with the aim of raising their ties to new heights.
On the occasion, the VGCL awarded insignias to President Flathen and senior advisor to the NCTU Diis Bohn in recognition of their contributions to the development of Vietnam’s trade unions.Bình luận của bạn đang được xem xét
