The visit was made at the invitation of the Thai Parliamentary President Chai Chidchob, who is also AIPA president.

The delegation includes head of the NA Committee for External Affairs Nguyen Van Son, and two deputy heads Ngo Duc Manh and Ngo Quang Xuan, deputy head of NA Committee for Social Affairs Nguyen Van Tien and deputy head of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, Le Bo Linh and others.
