General Secretary of PT, Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, made the statement while receiving Bui The Duc, Deputy Chief of the CPV Central Committee’s Popularisation and Education Commission, in Mexico on October 14. Duc is leading a delegation to the third World Congress and the 11^th International Meeting on Pre-School Education in Mexico.

Bui The Duc spoke highly of the helpful support of PT in promoting Vietnam’s image and culture in Mexico and Latin America, PT’s assistances to Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims and its provision of foreign language and journalism skill training to Vietnam News Agency’s reporters in Mexico.

On the occasion, Pedro Vazquez, Politburo member of PT and Head of the Mexico-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group (MVFPG) met with the Vietnamese delegation.

Vazquez informed and discussed with the delegation on MVFPG’s activities in the time to come to promote Vietnam’s image in the country, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two parties and countries.
