Vietnamese leaders congratulate newly elected RoK President
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong on June 4 sent congratulatory messages to Lee Jae Myung on his election as the 21st President of the Republic of Korea.
In their messages, General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong expressed confidence that with President Lee’s reputation, leadership, and strategic vision, the RoK will continue to thrive and achieve even greater successes, thus further enhancing its international standing in the years ahead.
They also affirmed their readiness to work with the President and the Republic of Korea to promote the Vietnam-RoK relationship in a more substantive, effective, and comprehensive manner, for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
On the same day, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu extended a congratulatory message to Park Chan Dae, acting leader of the Democratic Party of Korea (DPK).

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son held phone talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Cho Tae-yul on March 18 to discuss bilateral relations.
