Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) have emphasized the need to boost relations between the two parties in the face of complex changes in the world.

Li Changchun, a permanent member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on December 1 received a Vietnamese delegation, headed by Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Chairman of the Theoretical Council and Head of the Commission for Popularisation and Education of the CPV Central Committee, which has been in Bejing to attend the 7th Theoretical Workshop between the two parties.

He said the theoretical workshop was a practical activity to implement the agreements reached by leaders of the two countries during Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s recent visit to China. 

Mr. Li affirmed that the Chinese Party, State and people will work together with Vietnam to lift China-Vietnam relations to a new height.

He expressed his wish that the two sides would further coordinate in implementing mass mobilisation work under the new circumstances.

For his part, Mr Huynh said that the Vietnamese Party, State and people always attach importance to strengthening the traditional ties of friendship and comprehensive cooperation with China.
