A delegation from the Vietnam Women Union, headed by its Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, paid a working visit to China from December 21-26 at the invitation of the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF).

The visit was aimed at enhancing traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries’ women and sharing experiences in developing female human resources and promoting women’s involvement in economic activities and other fields.

On December 23, the delegation was received by ACWF president Chen Zhili at the Great Hall of the People. At the meeting, Ms Chen lauded the achievements by Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On the same day, the delegates met with ACWF vice president Meng Xiaosi to discuss measures for boosting cooperation between the two organizations. The two sides agreed to expand exchange, compare notes on issues related to women and strengthen cooperation at regional and international forums.

The Vietnamese delegation visited and worked with the ACWF chapter in Tianjin city on December 24.

During their stay in China, the Vietnamese delegates paid a working visit to the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
