Vietnam was the spotlight of the workshop entitled “Political parties and a new society”, held by the Mexican Labour Party (PT) from March 11-13.
The entire more than 200 audience stood up, shouting Long Live Vietnam and Thanks Vietnam after Pham Van Linh, deputy head of the Commission for Information and Education of the CPV Central Committee, finished a presentation of the Ho Chi Minh collection in Spanish.
The book, collecting articles written by Vietnam’s first President, has been published by the Mexican Labour Party and is considered the best so far.
Vietnam’s image has been further promoted at an exhibition on the Vietnamese land and people during the renewal process as part of the workshop.
The PT leader reiterated a policy to gear relations with the CPV through programmes of cooperation to tap strengths of the two parties for mutual interest.
For his part, the Vietnamese head delegate expressed an aspiration to boost bilateral relations in an effort to tap their potential, especially in the areas of high competitive edge.
During their stay, the CPV delegation paid a floral tribute to the late President Ho Chi Minh at memorial house in Mexico City.
