• Vietnam, Uzbekistan strengthen cooperation in agriculture

The event, jointly held by the Vietnam-Uzbekistan Friendship Association and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), was attended by diplomats, officials and representatives from both countries, as well as Vietnamese people who lived and worked in Uzbekistan.

The Chairman of the Vietnam-Uzbekistan Friendship Association, Luong Van Cu, highlighted the two nations' recent cultural and socio-economic achievements.

He spoke highly of the fine bilateral ties that have been nurtured by generations of Vietnamese and Uzbekistani leaders and people.

He also thanked Uzbekistan for its valuable support during Vietnam’s past struggles against foreign invaders and its present process of national development.
