The former US Secretary of the Treasury told State President Truong Tan Sang at a reception in Hanoi on November 17 that with a dynamic market and incentive policies on investment attraction, Vietnam will become a prosperous economic region in the future.

Professor John Snow said he was impressed by macro-economic management and its young labour force.

For his part, President Truong Tan Sang expressed his wish to see more American businesses invest in the country.

President Sang said he believes that with his prestige and valuable experiences, Professor John Snow’s presence in the country will enhance Vietnam’s prestige in the international arena.
