Vietnam and Switzerland will create favourable conditions for their enterprises to increase cooperative exchanges investments.

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch made the affirmation when they met in Hanoi on November 16.

Deputy PM Hai expressed his pleasure at the fine development of the two countries’ relations in many fields.

He proposed the two countries boost cooperation in economics, trade, investment, education and training, which demonstrate great potential for cooperation.

Mr Hai thanked the Swiss government and people for their assistance to Vietnam for many years, especially their commitment to continue providing official development assistance (ODA) till 2016.

Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch said that Vietnam is among Switzerland’s seven ODA prioritized recipients. 

She said the Swiss entrepreneurs are eager invest in the Southeast Asian country and cooperate with its businesses in banking, energy and environmental sectors.
