Vietnam supports businesses in increasing investment in Cuba

At a reception for Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz on October 3 in Hanoi, Prime Minister Phuc praised the Cuban government for facilitating Vietnamese enterprises to do business in Cuba. 

The government leader affirmed Vietnam's readiness to share with Cuba its lessons in socio-economic development and urged relevant agencies of both countries to advance cooperation and realize signed agreements and solutions put forth at the 35th meeting of the Vietnam-Cuba Inter-governmental committee. 

Minister Diaz said the Caribbean island desires to attract more investment from Vietnam and hopes that the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development will open an office in Cuba to facilitate trade activities.
