The State leader made the statement at a reception for Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Agriculture, Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Balghamin, and Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Bin Ahmed Zainal Ali Ridha, who are on an official visit in Vietnam.

President Triet asked Saudi Arabia to help Vietnam with energy security. He proposed the establishment of a partnership on food and energy and a channel to provide the businesses with exact and timely information related to each country’s investment policies and trade promotion.

He urged the two countries’ ministries and agencies should further cooperate to promote bilateral trade.

The Saudi Arabic ministers said the visit is aimed at implementing the initiative of Saudi Arabia’s King and carrying out cooperation agreement between the two countries in agriculture, trade, and industry.

They also expressed their hopes that Saudi Arabia will be able to build up a strategic cooperation with Vietnam in agriculture and energy sectors.

Finally, Saudi Arabia always welcomes Vietnamese goods and hopes more Arabic businesses will be able to invest in Vietnam, said the ministers.
