Vietnam provides US$300,000 in emergency aid to landslide-hit Nepal
VOV.VN - Vietnam has announced US$ 300,000 in emergency humanitarian aid to help Nepal overcome the severe consequences of recent flash floods and landslides.
In response to the heavy human and material toll caused by the natural disasters, the Communist Party, State, and people of Vietnam have decided to provide the financial assistance on the basis of traditional friendship, solidarity, and mutual support to assist the Nepali government and people in relief and recovery efforts.

No Vietnamese citizens have so far been reported dead, injured or missing in severe flash floods that struck the Nepal-Tibet (China) border area on August 26, according to the Consular Section of the Vietnamese Embassy in India, Nepal and Bhutan.
