Vietnamese citizens who used to work and live in Brazil attended a get-together held by the Vietnam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association (VBFC) in Hanoi on May 12, to mark the 22nd anniversary of Vietnam-Brazil diplomatic ties.
Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology and chairman of VBFC said that as the 51st member of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, the association has contributed to promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Brazil.
Brazilian Ambassador in Vietnam, Joao de Mendoca Lima Neto said that over the past 22 years, the two governments and peoples had been delighted to see the growing friendly and cooperative ties in all fields.
He said he believed the two countries would continue to enhance fine bilateral cooperation in the future.
