Associate Editor Kim Won Sok, who led the delegation, expressed his pleasure at witnessing the great achievements that the Vietnamese people had achieved in the process of building and protecting the country. 

He spoke highly of the role of Nhan Dan newspaper in the process of Doi Moi (renewal) industrialisation and modernisation of Vietnam, affirming that Rodong Simun newspaper wanted to increase cooperation and exchanges with Nhan Dan newspaper to enhance the friendship and mutual understanding between the people of both countries. 

Huynh said the visit was a new development step in cooperative relations between the organs of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Workers’ Party of the DPRK. 

He suggested the two newspapers tighten traditional cooperative ties, through practical activities for the benefit of the two Parties, two States and people of Vietnam and DPRK.
