A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) led by its Deputy Minister, Nguyen Tien Dinh paid a visit to Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Italy to discuss measures for boosting cooperation for training Vietnamese officials.
During their stay from March 19-29, they worked with Birmingham University to discuss cooperative training framework suitable for the Vietnamese training demands.
While in Italy, the delegation worked with the Italian National Institute for Administration, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss issues related to administrative reform, and share experience of training officials.
MOHA’s spokesperson Nguyen Xuan Binh said that the UK and Italy are willing to train Vietnamese officials at both central and grassroots levels and the devised training programmes will be sent to the MOHA soon.
