They discussed religion in each country, assessed the effectiveness of an agreement between the two organizations signed in 2007 and worked out the way forward for future cooperation.
Mr Kongbounmy and the Head of the Vietnam Committee for Religious Affairs, Nguyen The Doanh, agreed that the accord has helped to boost bilateral cooperation, bringing about positive results, including better mutual understanding and several practical training courses for cadres in this field.
Both parties will soon get together to organize some training classes to raise the capacity of cadres in charge of religious affairs and will conduct more research to come up with ideas for the new agreement which will be signed in 2011. They will also work together to incorporate the agreement content into the activities of the two government’s Joint Committee.
The Lao delegation will welcome the leaders of the Vietnamese government and visit some religious establishments during their stay in Vietnam from June 30-July 6.Bình luận của bạn đang được xem xét
